Heh, Space:1999 rocked. Too bad it was british and paced painfully slow. The miniature sequences made me think of Thunderbirds.

I think M*A*S*H* probably wins this hands down.

Sort of have to put the opening sequence in context of when it was done.  Something done in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, or 00's.

Perhaps my favorite series of all time (and a great intro to boot, IMO):

In terms of introductions, Babylon 5 IMO did a tremendous job.  The intros evolved with the show.

Just about anyone over 40 knows the words to the songs used in these shows.

As for Enterprise, IMO season 1 theme was way better (before they added the guitar).
