Well, I've been working on a new skin the past week or so and I've run into a problem. I edited the .bmp file in photoshop on a Mac. Now I've run into an issue. I saved the file as a .bmp but it gave me an option when I saved it. If I remember correctly, the option was for a windows .bmp file and I think it was also depth which I set at 32 bit. It also gave me an advanced save options drop down, but I didn't fiddle with this. Now, as per instructions on the HTC site for uploading skins, I saved it as p51d_1 for the folder and the picture replaced the p51d.bmp file. I also saved a .txt file for the plane description. The description comes up, but I have an invisible plane now. WTF? When I go out on the runway all I get is the cockpit and nothing else. Now as cool as it would be to have a steath Pony, I'd like to see all my hard work. So, any suggestions as too where I screwed up? I'm gonna play with some settings and see if I can fix it, but I figured that maybe someone in here has had this issue before and could point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Ok, so I think I've figured it out, sorta. When I go to save, I have to save it with a depth of 8, but it only gives me the option to do it in 16. Possibly because of the colors I've used? When I loaded the 16bit .bmp, the entire plane, prop and all came up all black. Is this because it's a 16bit image? This has really pi$$ed me off as I've spent a lot of time on this and unfortunately the directions on the HTC site are about as clear as mud. So, any help would be much appreciated.

Nevermind.... got it figured out. Photoshop is a dream sometimes, but it's so complex, you better know what you are doing other times.:D

So you got it in 8-bit, 256 color now, right?:aok
