...players in MW and 65 players in EW right now. Maybe having just one LW arena isn't that bad at all? :D

Whats up with the LW

Yeah a good idea if you wanna force people to fly in EW & MW.

What? No easy planes?
-
Don't worry there will always be a plane or two people gripe about.
If you can't win against a nu-be in an LA your in the wrong plane, not him.
-
I thought this was about my weight. Carry on.
-
Wow - is this a policy change or did one of the late-war arenas crash?
-
I believe the blue one and the DA were out forcing the cap in LW orange to remain stuck at 120 so everyone piled into MW and had it large.
Way more fun, more people no dweeb planes.
Rocked for one night only i guess :aok

I really don't understand what changes you guys were so thrilled about? I didn't notice a single difference between MW and LW other than what people were flying?
In fact, I kind of feel bad for the MW regulars. I'm not sure they loved having the LW Crowd invade their turf and bring in LW habits while they're at it.
It's just I've never been one that's understood ENY. You take a stereotypical La7 pilot, and put him in a 5 for awhile, and it doesn't exactly change his approach to the game .

I hear this a lot, but I don't get it.
Instead of P-51Ds, there are P-51Bs; instead of La-7s, La-5s; instead of Spit XVIs, Spit IXs. Each of those has the same advantages relative to the opposition as the "dweeb" planes have in LW.
And I found every bit as much dweebery in that MW crowd as I do in LW. My first 3 soties I started an engagement in neutral turf, and after 1-2 passes found myself being chased by 4-6 enemies. Tried to extend to get only one or two, and found that they left when they lost their horde.
Towards the end, after the arenas reopened but before the numbers dribbled down, there were some good fights -- including a nice multiple con engagement with 2v3 or 2v4..that ended when Bruv blasted me out of the sky. ( -- knew I left the wrong plane for last!)
But it was just another day in AH, as far as I could see.

I play every arena even H2H looking for a fight. In MW its one big milk run with a couple fights on the side. Of course their is those day when a good battle rages but that is not a the norm. People are padding their score so you dont have good fights like you will see in AvA our in LM.
The EW and MW were a experiment that failed. I think HT can do better with just AvA and LW.

Yes, but without being able to fly their dweeby planes, it has a reduction on their over-all dweebiness.
They can still be dweebs in a Spit I, but the net amount of dweebiness is less than if they were in a LA-7.

LW Blue server had issues.....

Or....the number of people that didn't want to be in MW.
