Do you have the option for the NFL network with your local cable? For the most part, most cable providers in Connecticut are not offering it which sucks, and I was wondering if it was a just a regional thing

Cable?? PFHHT!! DirecTV carries NFL in its "basic" package!:p
-
satellite has an exclusive contract - no cable co carries it

I had NFL network and I have cable, they just changed the basic package so I no longer have it.
-
I know i heard Comcast in Houston should be carring it soon, but we have Dish Network and have it already.
-
I have it here in SE PA with an extended Cable package (one up from basic).

You are thinking of the Sunday Ticket. NFL network is carried on cable. I have it, though it's part if a paid sports package.
-
Cav they do with digital cable in CT.
-
LOL LOL LOL LOL
Satellite is where it's at. NFL Package baby.
-
OK Comcast in Houston does have it now from what i heard today on the radio.
-
We had it. Now they made it a premium channel in my area.
Personally I found it insulting when the NFL decided to charge for internet radio coverage for its games.
Reason being is what you heard on the broadcast actually happend 5-10 minutes prior.
Cant tell you how many times I was listening to a game over the internet and heard the touchdown scored 5-10 min later then the scoring update showed on the TV screen.
Screw dat.
Byut. Cant blame the NFL for this one. this is all the cable providers.
If your not getting it. or if its a premium channel by you. its your cable provider charging for it. Not the NFL
Heard someone do the math that for what the NFL cvharges the cable companies to carry it if the cable companies raised their rates just to cover the cost. It would cost on average each cable subscriber in the state about $1.40 per year
