Ive been flying this lash up of already obsolete technology (Yesterday for the first time) and I think its great.
Havent killed any GVs yet though lots of assists, did get atacked by a spit at low level and got him in an HO (LOL)
Anyway I consulted Soda's pages for some help and it was all a bit negative so my question is:
1) How do you officianados do it.
2) Where do you set convergence.
3) Where do you atack for eg behind a panzer etc and from what sort of height etc.
Let me know as I am inspied to get proficient in this great bit of British improvisation.

Lusche has made a good post on this subject.
I prefer to get a rear shot and get slow enough for a combo burst of maybe 6 rounds. sometimes a diving approach from slightly higher is best.
If you try and get close and only manage to get 2 rounds in per pass it will take longer.
Tigers and T34's are usually tough nuts to crack everything else you should be able to track, kill engine or take the turret out.
Just give yourself enough room to pull out as hitting a tree or a mountain is always the hardest part.

PS: didn't know you were a fellow Brit!

Thanks, I,m surprised there arn@t more of us on here. It seems to be about 94% US 2% Aussie 1% Brit 3% the rest. staistically i would have hoped for closer to 15 to 20%. I thought we never got tired of fighting WW2 :D

M8 = just about anywhere.
Panzer = top armor or rear armor
M4/T34= top armor behind turret
Tiger... I go through turret top armor. This usually pops them.
I have my convergence pulled in to 250. I start firing at 400.
Hope this helps.
Bronk
Edit: I have killed tigers with as little as 4 rounds.
Edit 2: I also find attacking M4 and T34 easier from the high 3/9 line.

Do you slow right down and how many shots do you get off?
-
What I do is close throttle considerably on the way down and wep on the way up. On a good line up I can get 3 good trigger pulls.
What gets me most time is my impatience. Take the time and set up your shots.
Once you start getting kills it quickly becomes addicting.

Our squad has 14 Brits and growing! Some others that have gone AWOL or waiting for CT (they will be back in 2weeks) I wouldn't put the %'s that low. Just seems that many Brits have joined up into larger US squads and they get scattered between all the countries. Also with the country loyalties people are reluctant to move around.
