There have been few threads lately, mostly concerning HA, planeset, guns and icons, or combination of those.
This is just an attempt to bring it all together and see how many support the idea of:
- separate HA
- historically limited planeset
- no icons
- no radar and sector activity bars

The main has all the makins of a great HA. I vote, they put all that stuff in there. Then open up the old beta arena for us dogfighters.

I'm all for it... but do we have enough people to start splitting off yet?

Nash has a point there... Besides, who will go in the MA tell the new guys "press E to turn the engine on" ???
If it comes (Don't get me wrong, I also am longing for a HA) I will prolly be in both , since it depends of my mood...

Everyone can piss and moan, or scream and yell till the cows come home, but until HT and Pyro feel they have everything ready for it, I doubt that there will be a HA.
Do we currently have a workable plane set for it?? Not really
Is the strategical stuff all ready for a HA??
No..
Given the timing of additional planes being introduced, we got what?, 3 coming maybe in the next couple weeks or so, couple more a month after that perhaps.
Terrains for an HA a couple months after that maybe??
Looks like prolly 6 months or so at the LEAST, until a vaguely true HA is actually viable.
Wonder what all you'all gonna squeak about after that...
oh yeah,, this plane is undermodeled, that gun is overmodeled, the prop drag is wrong on the number 2 engine, the feathering of props ain't working on number 1 engine, the fire extinguisher ain't working, the ground is too hard, the ground is to soft, the ground is overmodeled, the ground is undermodeled, the ground is too uber......

You've, (thats a collective you've, not just Hristo) have made your collective wishes known, now ya gotta give them time to work them out people.
If you're gonna quit the game because ya had a bad night against what you BELIEVE are overmodeled guns, then so be it. If you're gonna leave the game because there isn't a HA, so be it. If yer gonna leave the game do so,, make yer post, say yer goodbyes, respond to the replies, and if ya haven't changed your mind, then take your mitt and ball and go home.....
And come back later when you decide that it's not so bad after all, and you miss all the "guys/gals" that you've become friends with, and that you can live with an over/undermodeled train whistle.....

All I ask here is simple yes or no, Greybeard. Nobody will mess your MA or whatever arena you like to fly in. Maybe HTC needs such a little push to implement a new arena.
We all have our opinions on cannon Hogs or gaming the game respawning etc, but that's not the issue here. There are other squeaking and moaning threads.
What matters is that some people just do not find it enjoying to fight in 109 vs 109, or winging with Niki in a P 51. Along with unrealistic icons.
The idea of this thread is to find out how many are ready to fly in such a HA, with current planeset and terrain. All additional planes and terrains will be welcomed.
Such HA has my vote.
As simple as that.

the rant wasn't directed at anyone in particular.
What I was trying to get at,, we already know that a LOT of us would like a HA..
I'd be 1st to jump into it.... and I'm a terrible combat flyer...
But it's been said and squeaked about so much it's gotten very old already..
Along with all the squeakes about this uber plane, that uber plane, this is overmodeled, that is undermodeled....etc ad nauseum..
One note though Hristo,, yer post said nuthing about using the current planeset...

but,, if every manjack one of us, were to vote yes, it all boils down to this..
Pyro and company is not gonna open a HA till THEY think it's ready to be opened. So what earthly good does it do for us to vote on this or that??? Over and over again???

If it doesn't have at least limited icons (like WB HA), my squad won't be there.
Otherwise, it sounds great.
