GIG HARBOR, Wash. (AP) - Two pit bull terriers broke into a house through a pet door Tuesday and attacked a woman in her bed, mauling her badly, a Pierce County sheriff's spokesman said.
The woman was able to grab a gun and try to shoot the dogs,
Officers planned to talk to the dogs' owner.

Officers "had to pepper spray and fight the dogs until they were detained. We almost had to shoot them on site," Troyer said.
The dogs were taken to a Humane Society and will probably be destroyed, he said.
It was not immediately known why the dogs entered the house, whether the woman had dogs of her own or what set off the attack.

here in Boston we have an area called Dorchester, predominantly black/Hispanic...and every week a pit bull attack......perhaps it’s just the dogs, perhaps the owners way of “training” the dog.. IMO the subcultures in these two communities harbor and forester this type of behavior, ..................Mike Vick syndrome

Need to send Vick to that area to clear it out stat.
Or just send the animals to PETA.

Visited a friend last month who is trying to recover from a heroine addiction at rehab. The facility held an enormous family/friend BBQ, and many people brought their dogs....
There was prolly 30 dogs in total, and 9 out of 10 were pitbulls...Take it for what ever you want it to be, but I think it gives a good example of the type of people who raise these types of dogs....
On the contrary, I have a good friend who is an animal lover, and was trying to prove people wrong about the bad image pitbulls have. His father is a K-9 trainer for the state police, and spent hours upon hours with the dog. Low and behold, even after hours with some of the best training available, the dog has bitten 3 people and now has been destroyed, because one of the attacks was totally unprovoked against a young girl. Just another example, but you can interprete that however you want....
****On a side note, regarding the story...........Good thing she LOCKED herself in the car! We're talking about pitbulls here! Not veloca raptors for Jurassic Park! lmfao***
