Title: Audigy 2 ZS Gamer & 5.1

Hi guys, in a bit of a pickle - just can't get the woofer to work under 5.1

I took the card out and reistalled and initialized my onboard sound and it works fine, so the problems with the card i figured.

Odd thing is that all the other speakers; Fr, Rear and the centre one work just fine, only the woofer is missing.

Any one else had a similar problem or have surround working with an Audigy 2 ZS with no problems - any ideas?

Does the sound driver have a centre/sub cross-over setting? On my SB Audigy I need to set this to half way to get the sub working in 5.1

I have the latest driver from Creative's site but running the Audio Console & under CMS3D I only have to option for front / rear balance.

Are the centre/sub on the same 3.5mm connector?

Thanks for the replies Vulcan, I've finally sorted it.

Turns out I overlooked a check box in Creative's "Speaker Settings" called "Bass Redirect". Once checked the woofer started kicking.

Been grinning ever since :)
