Was just starting to get to sleep after a rough day, and my sister comes into my room screamin her head off, callin my name, yellin someones on the phone, and breaking the sound barrier yellin and screamin. I ask "WTH IS IT!??" She says nothing and runs off. She might have thought it was funny but I was about to knock her head off. If theres a burglar I probly won't get up for someone crying wolf.

Nothing pisses me off more then when I am JUST on the edge of falling asleep, someone interrupts me and wakes me back up.
That must be how wars start.....

When I was living in the dorms a couple of years back, it was common for some jerk to pull the fire alarm about once every 2 weeks.
So I spend a heavy night out drinking. I end up drinking way too much. I come in and I just want to crash. Just as I was getting to sleep, the fire alarm goes off. As I wait outside for the fire alarm to turn off, the cold starts to set in through the drunkeness, being as it was late march.
Fire alarm goes off, and I settle back into bed. It is just starting to cool off, but still a little warm. Just as I was about to go catatonic, the fire alarm goes off again.
To this day, Fire Alarms, and just the thought of them, set me on edge.

Why didn't you just find the guy who pulled it and knock him to the ground several times? Then he would be the one with a fear of fire alarms.

Better yet: Report him to the owner of the building. The prankster will be forced to pay thousands of dollars in compensation of the false fire alarms.

Actually, I found out that neither were necessarily prank pulls. The first time it was pulled, the RA was walking the halls and saw smoke coming out from underneath a door. He opened it up to discover the guy just finish putting out a mini fire. The RA pulled the alarm, because while it might not have any flames, the fire might not be done.
And then later, a group of 'Smokers' had lit up so much that there was a heat strata on the ceiling that set off the fire alarm. Unfortunately, they did this 2 other times during the semester.
