Post by: rogerdee on August 23, 2007, 09:25:39 AM
Ok guys a question

how do i get things like train engines and flat cars  ect to show up in object editor or is this some thing that can only be done in the Terrain ediator?

I found a item by easycor but does that work for the terrain editor too,i wanted to ask first before i go into the files just encase the old crapo hits the fan.

i have used the object editor before but had to place things like standing aircraft with the TE.

thanks in advance for any help

No, you cannot place other than default and your objects in OE, only TE.

Are you talking about the default trains and flat cars you see in the terrains,
or putting custom trains and flat cars in the terrains?

i mean the default ones
i was thinking of trying to make a marshaling yard or a proper train station that type of thing just to see what could be don with what we have in the game.

The image above is of a section of the train track I extracted from
the fulroad object (I think from that one) using AC3D, for a train yard
in the works.
