Title: B25H Gunner positions Incorrect
Post by: SKJohn on August 23, 2007, 02:41:46 PM
In the B-25H, the gunner positions do not show up as what they are.

#2 shows the tail, not the nose.

#3 shows the tail, not the top

Perhaps this is because with the 75mm cannon, there is no nose gunner position, thus throwing off the numbering system?

The guns positions change from bomber to bomber. You won't always find the top turret in the same spot, or the ventral, or the lower. It all changes depending on the number of gun turrets/placements on the plane in question.

Not a bug, just kind of disorienting.

Along similar lines, the B-25H's left and right gunner positions are listed as "POS 4" and "POS 5" respectively. Other bombers with left and right gunner positions list them with appropriate words and numbers, as e.g "#5 LEFT" and "#6 RIGHT" in the B-26. Perhaps some temporary text was left in.

Actually Krusty, it is a bug.

The display in the upper left corner of the screen lists the number 2 position as Nose, when in fact it's the top turret. The tail turret, pos 3, is displayed as the top turret, and the waist guns simply say POS 4 and POS 5.
