Yayyyy!

Forget the hyped B-25 ;) ... this is the real important stuff in this new update! WTG HTC!

I think the next few days will see me more playing with film viewer than flying :D

I haven't tried the new version yet, but the film viewer is what I'm excited about.  It was difficult making movies (exciting angles that is) with the limited view system.  This new camera arrangement is what I'm hyped about.

The film viewer now shows skins on other aircraft. Is this retroactive? Is this info already in existing film files? Or is it only from this point forward?

Somebody load up an older file and see!

one of the most important aspects is the engine sounds, imo. this will double the helpfullness of training films on the subject of throttle work.

and yes of course the camera is my favorite too:)

I would have loved to put engine sound in my last (my first real AH movie) movie, but the work around wasn't worth my time.

And a future note to people that do make movies with engine sound, turn it down.  I can just see it being way louder than the music they put to the movie.

me too fulmar, spot on. sometimes i even have got so into it that i go and record 10 mins of sounds from the game and chop them up into the specific sounds i need. it takes for ever a true labour of love, and never ever sounds good enough. not so anymore.

just great!

The other guy's skins will only show up in 2.11 films and beyond.  Older films did not record which skin was being used.
