Title: Hi alt interceptor/gunnery TA

I was loooking for a place to practice shooting at bombers at alt and haven't found any. Would be interesting to have an area in the TA where Bombers flew back and forth in formation to shoot at. Conversly you could gun for them and practice that as well. Just a thought,

ask someone to go and up a set for you.  I'm sure someone would be kind enough to help you out.

When you go to the TA look at the roster for anyone in the PSAM squad.  There are a few of us that visit the TA and offer to be a target, I am one of them.

Only, in the DA you don't get any bombers enabled at any fields other than the 10k bomber-row fields. In the TA you don't get any bombers at the 30k fields (only a few fighters).

Neither arena is set up to allow this type or practice without 30 minutes of "climb time."

You could always use the TA map offline and shoot the drones that'll be circling the hi-alt fields. Just a suggestion.

The problem is you don't get the actual damage model on those drones.  May times i leave them as wingless/tailless flying fuselages orbiting in the sky.  

Looks like this guys wants to be able to snap off a wing and down a plane to practice his gunnery skills.

I'll look for you, and PSAM, while in the TA. I just hate having to ask somone to up bombers and take the time to climb to alt, just for my sake. I was thinking a drone of some sort in a race track orbit in the bombing area. Or, the ability to "setup" a mission for the offline drone's with route and alt info.

How high is high?  I don't often see buffs much over 15k in the MA.

I guess that's why I usually don't get intercepted flying bombers in the MA, LOL. I usually fly around 25k in the MA, I guess I'm too new to know better :-)

I am trying to practice for the scenario in October, and the bombers will be between 15k and 25k. I figured out how to use the TA offiline so I can shoot at the drones from the 20k base.

Bombers at the south spawn in the bomber zone airspawn at 30k.  And there are 15 and 20K fields in the bomber zone.
