Anyone know anything about Bellsouth (ATT) DSL service?
Just moved way out in the sticks and teh able company doesn't run that far. Thank god the phone company does have DSL out there or I'd be stuck on dial-up.

Just a suggestion, look into satellite service in your area as well you might be able to save a few pennies. Good Luck senor

You can check ou tthe forums @ http://www.dslreports.com
I'm sure you can find some one in the area of where you are to do a trace route to the HTC servers.

I had bellsouth DSL for a few years when I lived on an island with no cable internet and it was fine for internet gaming.( About 3 years ago ) At the time I thought it was fantastic. Much better than satellite for sure as last I heard satellite had slow upload speeds.

Bellsouth was good till ATT got them, have had multi problems latey.

The main problem with satellite isn't so much the speed: Rember most games including AH2 doesn't use that much bandwidth, it's the all about the latency to HTC network. And with satellite since it goes from groud dish to satellite that is +140 miles up (aprox) then another +140 back down just to get to the main network to route like a normal ISP would from there then all the way back again to get back to you.

Bellsouth started out as part of AT&T, IIRC. ;)
