courtesy of wife swap (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCODIhAXbQM)
There may or may not be a god, but after seeing this, I firmly believe that there is a devil. Do these people really exist?
-
It always amazes me the evil that is done by those suposedly on the side of good/God.
Her poor kids.
Fanatism in any form is destructive by its very nature... intolerance.

ew.

What a freak show.
-
Wow...
What a total psycho.

I stopped watching probably half way through. She didn't seem that freaky to me. Just passionate about the manner in which her family interacts w/God.
Although, she probably could have considered that BEEEFORE she went onto wife-swap. She had to know that they purposely put families together who are most likely to have tremendous controversy ~ makes for more interesting viewing I suppose.
*edit: And she's probably not that freaked out all the time. Same as always, the most dramatic makes for a good clip ~ that's what got posted.

I suppose Ted Bundy was just a passionate ladies' man.

OMG, Shes really gone. Oh well.

Hardly a viable comparison.

:O :O :O :O
That was terrifying.
-
sad people actually live like that..
-
Hhahahah.
Come to my house, b|tch. I'll show you un-godly and dark-sided.
:rofl

Just no less viable than referring to somebody who is clearly intolerant, emotionally unstable, utterly irrational and completely blind to the turmoil she is creating within her own home, not to mention the way she is portraying her fellow Christians, as 'passionate'.
She has more emotions than brains, that I won't disagree with that, but when the disparity is this great, there is no positive effect, either on the world as a whole or on Christianity in specific.

I didn't know bolo6 was a woman.

Crack kills, and so do drugs...
-
:rofl ****in airheaded sack of meat. I know first-hand what bad parents are like, and this piece of trash is a good example of what "good intentions" are in the hands of a retard/psycho.
With any luck, those kids will get a good sting of her BS to keep them from being subverted into following her lead.
-
in the end she took the $50,000, she went over to the "dark side".
i guess it's a case of money talks, jesus walks.

The show pays $50,000 to families who participate?

To those that survive a week with the other's family.

[...] C. W. Shumway observed the Los Angeles revival of 1906 and noted six basic symptoms: complete loss of rational control; dominance of emotion that leads to hysteria; absence of thought or will; automatic functioning of the speech organs; amnesia; and occasional sporadic physical manifestations such as jerking or twitching. Eusebius observed similar phenomena around the year 300, saying that the false prophet begins by a deliberate suppression of conscious thought, and ends in a delirium over which he has no control.

Makes me wanna run and go join my nearest church. Not!!!!
YKnurd your lack of knowledge is not my problem, go read something.
If I were a follower of this faith, I would reevaluate things after seeing this.

Thus collapses an interdenominational bridge of human understanding.
-
Redtop, shes on your team.

All groups of anyone have a few crazies. The muslims have the suicide bombers, the christians have her and the church bombers, the atheists have, I dunno, Stalin, and so on.
The smart thing, I'd gather, is to avoid using a handful of wackos to smear the entirety of whatever group they're in. That's a level of moderation that's in short supply around these parts.
-
Hmm.. she is really into god.. and wifeswapping is ok?? :rofl
She needs some serious medication :D

Maybe you should try reading the Koran before you open your pie hole.
and you have no idea of the size of my library.
-
period.
I watched the actual episode, when she melted down and threw them all out, refusing the $50,000.
Small print at the end, "she later accepted the cash"
Nuts.

if you were her husband, wouldnt you talk her into it, even without the 50 000 at the end?
-
She would still be a better neighbor the one who would strap a bomb belt on and go into a school or train station.

Mankind has a few crazies to be sure. ;)

Funny... she strikes me as exactly the type that would strap on a bomb belt.
A zealot is a zealot.:O

I'm confused, was it darkside or dorkside?

Has anyone ever considered when you meet women like the one in this video who are not religious but melt down the same that one of your thoughts is she may have a harmone imbalance?
Some of the physical signs of that imbalance are excesive body weight, extrems of emothenal moods with loud verbal outbreaks and cumpulsive fixations on minor details. Unfortunatly when one of them becomes religious the problem gets lost in what seems like sainted zeal.
I hope this womans pastor recognises the syumptoms and makes an effort to help her. This kind of disorder is not unlike having an alcoholic mother with everyone in the family being turned into codependents to keep some form of daily stability.
-
Yep, certifiable. She wouldn't settle for anything less than her family's anguish for her self-serving drama.

WTH you bring me up for? That was a cheap shot. If your insinuating I'm like that.....your crazier than she is and those ismalic numbskulls ya seem to have an affection for.
Either way.....your lil cheap shot wasn't called for at all.
Have a pork loin sandwich and a beer and sthu.

very emotionally needy drama queen, with zero self-knowledge, leading the unexamined life... sadly unfit for adult relationships and most of all, the responsibilities of motherhood.
plus she's stupid, and you can't fix stupid.

The house she went to for the week was in the darkside. The "woman" featured in the video clip is in the dorkside.
Nilsen it's one of those alleged reality shows. I saw parts of 2 different episodes. It's like they try, and somehow succeed in finding the most extreme bottom scrapings of the barrel to film. It's not worth spending any time watching it. Extreme low brow IMO.

Everyone's always picking on my poor mom.

not so fast chairboy. I would never equate this woman with suicide bombers.
this corroborates my impression that you have an agenda, or at least engage in the hobby of atheism. as opposed to the quiet confidence of your convictions.

"reality" shows are far more scripted than anyone likes to think. I wouldn't be half surprised to see that huge freak on IMDB somewhere.
-
I could never watch the Wife Swap show. It wasn't what I expected at all. I had the ky and tissues all ready too...

Reality show contestants aren't picked because they are even reasonably normal.
Would MTV's the "Real World" be at all interesting if it wasn't filled with handsomehunkes, crazies, and those who are ****ed up mentally?
-
Its not interesting anyway, but they still have the 'participants' do specific things to spice things up.
-
I agree with 68Hawk.
Cheap actors, fed some lines for a one-time shot at petty fame.
Waste of quality airtime on TV.

I was her husband I'd use $50 000 to put a hit on her.

I'd Hit It.

*Everyone was waiting for this to be said*

It's actually a very interesting show if you happen to know the people involved :)
My sister's friend's mom went on wifeswap once... She's the classic "Farmington" uberrich, multi-million dollar house, nose up in the air a mile, drives a Hummer, would be aghast at ordering takeout, superiority complex, yada yada yada, yet pretty darn good parent, as her kids all turned out great (and suprisingly humble, so maybe my impressions of her are off).
They threw her into a trailer-esque home for a week. Her "1-week-husband" took her to a drag show, while his wife slept until well past noon every day back in Farmington. All the kids were wide-eyed in amazement.
The sad thing was though, the Farmington parent whipped those trailer kids into shape in no time, instituted family dinners and get togethers, read to the young ones, yada yada. The kids seemed genuinely upset that she was leaving.
The trailer mom didn't really do much in Farmington besides provide an interesting amusement, and leave the kids $5,000 or so each to buy a CELLPHONE :huh (The mom's get to make a "will" of sorts, delegating where the money goes, or at least they got to do that a few years ago).
-
You know, if at sometime in her kids life's they start doing heavy drugs and having unprotected sex with multiple sex partners.
Spend a few days/weeks in a mental instatution.
I would just look back on this and say "yeah, i understand why."
:aok

I don't have speakers on this comp, but I couldn't help but imagine the chant..
Jerrrrr-E.....Jerrrrrr-E....Jerrrrr-E
375 pound women with goal posts for teeth should not be preaching...
...to anyone.
