Thanks to Wasq, Panzer and other Finnish guys who were brave enough to come here.
We really had a good time talking, and Wasq called me when they got back to the hotel. At that time we (me, my co-worker and our friend) were sitting in the woods nearby drinking vodka that I got back from security (hehe), and waiting for the crowd to disappear before we get onto an electric train.
Hmm and I still have a can of beer in my backpack...!

But again, I have been at Duxford, on the 60 year BoB anneversary, and I had press pass :p

So how much vodka did you need to drink to go to a russian airshow? Which was the more important part, the airshow or the vodka?
-
Thanks Boroda, it was fun meeting you :)
Actually I didn't drink any vodka in the airshow area, only beer...
I don't have any pictures yet, let's see whether I manage to unpack my bags today. I just recently got back to Finland, the train trip was actually pretty enjoyable.

In finnish standards if you remember anything from a trip abroad it's a failed trip. That's why pictures and video is for, to see what happened.

At roughly the same time, there was the Budapest air races.
Look here:

They fly at speeds up to 400 kph and pull up to 10 G's. Like formula 1 on steroids :D
Would have loved to see the Moscow airshow though. Is it an annual event?

Boroda & friends!! A big thank you for a fun Saturday at the show, really enjoyed it. Haven't yet had time to look through my photos, maybe later today..
Angus, it's every two years, next time in 2009.
Thanks again, Boroda!

Now that I've gone through my photos, all I can say is that next time I'll bring a better camera... I had a 3-4 years old compact digital camera with me, which was too slow to focus on the flying machines and didn't like the bright conditions there. So no good flying pics. :(
A couple of examples what could have been good photos:

And a mandatory group photo:

Myself, Wasq and Boroda.
I'll still have to go through the static display photos, at least those planes weren't moving so the pictures should be ok.
