Title: ATM Machine Business

OK so I'm thinking about venturing and starting my own business.  I don't want to give out too many details but I feel I got what is close to a gold mine in reguards to a military base and an ATM machine business.

Being that AAFES has a monopoly on businesses on military bases has any of you had any experience dealing with them?

Have any of you had any experience dealing with ATM type businesses?

Potentially I could make alot of money with a 28K start up fee....and that's something I've researched not something that someone has sold me on.

I can give you a little bit of info. We have ATM's in most of our stores. Of course the threat of a smash and grab is always there. You have to have a dedicated phone line for each ATM. The fees are usually split 70/30, you get the 30%. You might also find out that people will claim they did not get that $200 out of your ATM that they were charged for (that will NEVER happen in San Antonio) and will chargeback the transaction unless you have proof they actually got the money and not somebodyelse using their card. Some machines have built in cameras to help prevent this.

You have to use a vehicle with a very strong towing and bumper system with a large cold rolled chain to........................... .............................

Uh how is it you can start a business with $28k and the other week you couldn't afford an attorney to handle your upcoming divorce?

You do know the WORST time to start making career changes is in the middle of a divorce don't you? Until everything is finalized you'll end up having to share with the ex.

Is your divorce final? Did you get the custody situation and child support as well as visitation situation worked out?

Nothing is final.  I'm just doing the research because I have time on my hands and this is a potential gold mine.  

Beleive it or not it's easier to get a $30K GRANT for a small business than it is to get $3K for a lawyer!
