The Question: Recent polls have shown the 5th of Americans cannot locate the United States of America on a world map, why do think this is?
Her answer: I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so, because uh some people out there in our nation don't have maps and a I believe that education like such as in South Africa and Iraq everywhere like such as, and that I believe that they should or education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help Iraq and asian countries so we would be able to build up our future for our childerns.
Host (with a silent laughing smile) Thanks Ms. South Carolina.

asking beauty queens questions about anything other than makeup or diet is unfair... like asking sports stars anything about anything.
How long would a game show be that pitted beauty queens against basketball players for instance? If it didn't involve questions about jewelry that is.

There's no child left behind as long as we push the slow ones up front.

Damn she's cute.
It's a beauty contest anyway, so why ask her about geography? Let her dance around in a 2 piece and everything will be A-OK.
-
When you're that good looking you don't have to say a thing.
Which brings to mind that bit about all people being created equal. Well, yeah, in the sense of rights as a human being.
But as for opportunities, people who are born rich, smart, beautiful, and nice have it all over people who born poor, dumb, ugly, and mean.

lol i just saw this video on a news channel here.. THAT is some funny stuff. :D
That model should not really worry anyone, but the fact that 1 in 5 americans cant place their country on a map is alot worse. That just cant be correct, and id like to see the source of that statistic.
-
another fine example of the american educational system

I DON'T CARE WHAT YOUR BRAIN IS LIKE! If it was really that important to men we would have invented brain augmentation!

Most of us Americans realize what country we're in without using a map.

I think she rode the short bus to school but then again she is too stupid to tell time to know when it was going to pick her up
-
As a South Carolinian my only response is a *THWAP* across my own forehead... Complete with a resounding "DOH!"
Oh well, I'd do her anyway.... as long as she didn't try to talk later.
