After the latest patch,
after installing a full version over the patched game
Winxp sp2
512Mb ram
amd at 2.1Mhz
ATI sapphire at 9700
yada
offline works

I thought this day would come, but it would be hardware related...sad sad

How do I get 8 player to work again?

you can't get it to work, they shut it down on a permanent basis.
