Title: After 11 years it has come to an end.

Got DSL about 3 weeks ago! It ROCKS!

Spent about 3 hours on youtube one night. That will suck your life away. Will not do that again. ;)

HTC I have to say thank you for supporting those on dial up. Amazing that someone can still play Aces High on a 26k dial up and use vox without any band width issues.

Now I am starting to try out some of those first person shooters. As for Aces High, I am not going anywhere. Still the best online gaming you will find in my book. Live in some beautiful rural country in the Mts. and have broad band! Life is good. :)

It never got released fully because AA was released, and pretty much had all the enhanced moves we were working on. If you get a chnace PM me. I'd like to jump in, if you wouldnt mind.

What is sad is thinking on avrage it takes 5-15 seconds to load a page, not to mention all that pages pictures/spamm.

Figure that time from all his posts, and im willing to bet hes lost at least a few yearsw of his life waiting* on dial up.

DD whatever you do, don't let Sondog anywhere near AA. My stepson downloaded that game 3 years ago when he was 14 and we haven't seen him since. I'm NOT kidding. :furious

I spent about 5 hours on youtube my first day. (among other sites:noid )

Those "other sites" probably only took about 2 mins of your time. So the other 4:58 was spent on YouTube

I s there a lil fairy that stands on your computer with a wand and zaps the information right to where it needs to go?

Seriously though it's nice to know there are places that are moving the right direction... Eastern OR seems to be stuck in a time warp, round 10 years of dialup so far here :cry They said we were getting DSL this spring then said the beginning of next year then said they didn't know....... Someone has their head stuck up something me thinks :D

Ya, 11,000 is a lot. Been around a while (the old timers know this) and pretty active in the first several years especially in the CM group where 70% of my postings went. That or Squad Ops/Snapshot forums. ;) About 3 to 4 posts a day over the years I would guess.

Rgr Max. Sondogs time is pretty limited. Wed night on occasion and weekends during the school year. Kid gets all A's so we are careful about is computer time. He is also in an advanced math class. In the summer he plays a lot more. He and I will explore the first person shooters. I am having some fun in BF2 Project Reality right now.
