Title: ch combat stick-568
Post by: df54 on August 29, 2007, 04:47:36 PM
I recently purchased a 568 combat stick and despise the trim wheels to the right and below the stick itgself.  Is there any way to disable the wheels without taking anything apart.

Electrical tape would cover them and not be too obvious.  It may tend to curl on you though.  If you can find black duct tape it might work better.  For a more permanent solution, some epoxy or super glue would also work.

Leave those trim wheels alone.  They are there to trim the potentiometers in your stick.  I highly recommend that you do not disable them at all as you may need to fine tune your stick's calibration and those trim wheels are how you fine tune.

I have this stick also.

if you do move them make sure you return them back to the centre notches.

They are for what AKAK   describes.
