Fred thompson finally to announce his official candidacy
:aok
-
That'll be interesting to watch. Overall, I like Fred over the other guys. But we have a long, long ways to go til we really know where he stands on things. And of course, the press will be eager to toss dirty laundry anywhere they can find it.
-
He had to officially announce. He was taking too much heat for donations not covered by campaign rules.
-
LePaul, he worked in Hollywood. Why would he have dirty laundry?
-
Just so you all know, actors aren't the same people as you see on the screen in movies. I think this has caused alot of confusion in the voting process.
-
What's it mean, "throws his hit in"?
I mean what's a hit and what's he throwing it into?
-
He would be a spoiler for Ron Paul, nothing more, IMHO.

I think they were making electric Koolaid after the announcement.

It would be really great if he had a chance of getting the nomination... I like him best of the republicans.
No chance tho. they will go with someone bland and more like a democrat.

It is because of his beliefs and his statements on matters that I believe he will be the best choice for GOP nominee, and the best choice for President, regardless of party.
And let's be honest, the handsomehunkocrats are not putting up a decent candidate.

If the democrats were smart enough, they'd drop hillary and obama right now. While they both have strong support and followings in the liberal base, they are absolutely hated by everyone else, including moderates. Just as much as love and support for Hillary and Obama is completely irrational, so is the hatred of them. And because of the irrationality, they cannot win.
But perhaps it's a great ploy. Have hillary and obama tear each other to shreds, and then raise up a shining knight in armor only a short time before the election.

I think you are giving them way to much credit, I think diehard democrats really are stupid enough to think hillary or obama can win.
There in lies their biggest problem, they think most people think like they do, they don't realize the type who are stupid enough to support hillary are in the minority across the country, a small minority. The country isn't just about east coast self-appointed "elite" and left coast extreme liberals.
