Title: Windows Media 11 problem

after mixing and matching .wav files from various sound packs,  WMP will play some .wav files but not others within a folder.

for example, in the 109g14 folder, WMP will play the gear sound, but not the engine sound.  however, if i open ITUNES, it will play the engine sound. (Itunes is NOT set as the default player for audio files)

I have all sound files associated with WMP.


what could cause this?

I'm not having this problem, so it isn't the fact they are all associated with WMP.
