Title: Enemy F4U1D have no sound

Engaged a couple of F4U1D's on separate occasions and flown by different guys.  They do NOT emit any external engine sounds.  You can't hear them in flight.  You can hear their guns though.

I asked if other rooks had the same experience and 3 guys said they also can't hear F4U1D's.

I have film if required.

Also noticed from CV tower friendly F4UD's run silent.

what sound package do you have ??

Shouldn't matter; the same sound file is used for internal and external sound.

I use mitsue as base sound pack but have engines and guns from other places.  In this instance I have airmess engine in f4ud.

I like your thinking here.  I'll change that particular engine and report back.

no problem yea i got Waffle sound pack and it all works sept no sound for sherman  yet

Belay the bug report all is well.

I replaced the F4U1D's engine sound with another and all is good now.

My apolls for not thinking quicker.  TY flyboy for the prompt.

dont worry bout it ur the reason why i can hear on vox lol and everything in the game when i lay is ship shape lol <> Buddy have a good nite Lynx
