and if this ever does get added heres an idea for HTC, make the veiw-sight on tank easyer to see out of thats not even historical the way they have it ( no offense to HTC ) but make it historical like a round hole that the drive pops his head out of ,and another question why is it that when i get strafed ina tank my machine gun doesn't work is it jammed or what?

Indirect Fire weapons (like these siege guns) wouldn't really be that useful. First off, hitting anything using the map and "land mode" aiming is pretty much a crap shoot. If you lay enough fire down, sure you'll hit something, but you won't have much say in what it is.
In Direct Fire confrontations, an SP 105mm gun is pretty much guaranteed to go up like a roman candle if you hit it. Sure you'll blow any vehicle apart if you get a hit, but a hit from a tank gun, or even an aircraft cannon is likely to have you pushing up daisies.
IF HTC was inclined to add a self-propelled gun to the list, I'd be much more in favor of a German 88mm gun because it can also be used as AAA base defense against bombers. The 88 was mounted on a Sdkfz half-track, and could be used in AAA, Direct Fire, and Indirect Fire modes, and for sure was one of the most historically important weapons of the war.

Im not sure what you mean. If your talking about the drivers postition, then you can 'pop your head out' by pressing 'Page Up' until your head comes up out of the tank.

Your pintle gun has been taken out by the aircraft that strafed you.

well here's what i want for anything under the catagory of "artillery".
88mm German Flak gun
105 howitzer
a Battleship with 16 " guns or 14"- no 18".
rocket barrages, from ships, half tracks, or just simple rocket racks.
a Wespe
that much will do.

if you want historical have a spotter up top shouting out ranges, targets, and degree of nearest target d:
-
It wont add players
Plus a siege gun would be useless to have in the game

I agree. Those types of guns would be used far and few between. The shore batterys are used only when CV's are near. Just think if you had a clear line of sight with that gun on a enemy base at striking distance. Useful...maybe. However, having a self-propelled howitzer or a 105 could be used with great success in AH. Like I said in the other "artillery" thread: use of a forward observer or a range "tool" could be utilized. A self-propelled gun would have many uses on several type scenarios and attack plans. I use the LRVT (or whatever that is called) as artillery all the time. Just wish it was a bigger gun. So...Siege gun=no, artillery=yes. My opinion anyway....;)
