every time i would go into sean17th or xena17th's arena they were talking about xfire so i would like to know what is it?:confused:

it's like MSN or AIM.  but for games.  It shows the people on your buddy list, and what games they're playing, and you can bind hotkeys to talk to them during the middle of a match.

I've also seen it stand as Cross-Fire for Graphics Cards(the linking of two graphic cards in one computer to work together as one), I think only for ATI Cards though... NIVIDIA calls it something else...
