Title: Samsung LCD HDTV
Post by: Swager on September 04, 2007, 07:31:13 AM
I am looking to buy either a Samsung LNT4665F or a LNS4696D.

Does anyone have experience with these models?  Thanks.

I dont have those models but do use a 32" Samsung LCD. I love it, but the picture on standard TV could be better.  I also have a Panisonic 42" Plazma. pic just as good on HD but way better standard pic.

If you can go to  a store that has them on display, and get them
to let you see both pictures. get 1 that can do non HD well, Cause there
will be times when you will have to watch non HD TV still.

I have the 42" model in that lineup and i've had great luck with it . It's got excellent picture quality and is fast enough that ive had zero ghosting (PS/2) . Good luck deciding on a TV , it took me over a month lol .     38

No clue what your budget is or what other factors are important. I use a 19 in sceptre gaming monitor (very satisfied with it) so when I saw the 37 in 1080P it was a no brainer. Now the 46 in 1080P is out and I'm strongly considering one of those. Sceptre 46 in LCD (http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11214671&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=&lang=en-US)

No clue how it stacks up beyond that its a very good quality true 1080P picture. Lot of bang for the buck....

I have a Samsung LN-S4695D 46" 1080p LCD HDTV  (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000GDEZLG/interactiveda617-20)

It's a great tv - HD looks super and it makes a great monitor:
