New Orleans and federal government officials presented a mock-up of the new public transportation system to be built with the help of $13 billion in federal funds for planning in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. The lead contractor, Haliburton, presented a display for the public and press to show the remarkable progress being made to date.

An additional $84 billion has been appropriated for the first phase of construction.

(Yes, I know it's a steer, but "steerpower" just doesn't have that ring.)
