LA-7's are pansy planes... Fly a good old KI-61 or FM-2 to be a man lol :)

If you don't fight it, (and no I do not mean HO and bore) you shouldn't fly it.
La7 is a great plane, but its been ruined by so MANY many newb's & dweebs flying it.
But if you think the la7 is ezmode, the spit 8 is even more so. Heck even I can land 3 kill sorties in the spit 8!
Next weeks installment, how to turn a P47 inside out.

Tons of easier planes. The main reason people hate the lala is that when they finally manage to get their second cherry pick and try to RTB for their WTGs, the lala wont let them lol. I can't even count the times in the MA were Spit9s have tried to run from my LA7 :rofl

Spits and LA's were used alot in H2H to train new pilots. They were simple to fly so a new individual didn't need any previous skill to be decent in it.
Some are better than others in them but in the end... they are very forgiving.
I've had some great fights against spits & LA's in my 38...... any fight is good unless you have 5 spits coming at you and the first three try to shoot you in the face.

Perk everything faster than a goon
Perk everything that out climbs fully loaded Lancs
Perk anything that out turns B-24's (without losing drones)

LA's are the ghayest plane in the game.I can understand noobs flying then but people playing for years flying then,have then not learned any skill besides run?La's are good for uping at a caped base,other then that they are dweebie.Even a 1v1 if the la driver is on your 6 and you reverse on him he runs like a school girl.
Alteast i can give some credit to the to the spit's at least people in the spits fight.They think they will win because of their UBER turn rate.LA's are just ghay.
People cry about the LA all the time because it is fast as hell,UBER gun's,Can keep up with a temp on the deck,ok turn rate...the LA5 turn rate it better thow.Even if the LA was a 5perk plane it would change alot.People may stop trying to ho as much but they would run more so they could not lose their perkies.

the LA is a great plane its all the ho and run guys like vans said that make it ghey. If some of these ho and run guys tryed to turn the lala the would be amazed at how well it does so.

You got it all wrong V. We fly LA7s so we can stop you from running :rofl You example of an LA7 running after you reverse them is BS. I don't think you have ever reversed any thing. You cant reverse when all you do is cherry pick. Now, if for some reason some one did run from you in a lala, they probably did not realise it was you and that they had an easy kill :rofl

I won't run. I never had a problem turning with anything but Spit/Hurry 1 and A6M2's. La7 is a great plane when flown correctly by the 2% of those who fly it. It became boring for me, BUT, alas, it is a very good ride.
Instead of trying to put down "vets" VansCrew, think about how you fly?

So far this unbeatable airplane that every newbe can fly and be an instant ace in it has 7,269 kills and 5,631 deaths. Most kills are the 50run and the lala. Most deaths P50run and the lala :rofl
If it only was US made I would have to go find a second job to keep me busy at work instead of reading the BBS.:rofl

Doens't matter what you fly, good tactics and someone who can shoot will defeat skill every time.

How can you tell the diffence between a male and female La-7 ? ... I have looked all over my La-7 and can't find any noticeable difference. With that, has anybody ever seen female La-7s only hanging around with female La-7s ? ... or male La-7s only hanging around with male La-7 ? ... if not, then how could one call them ghey ?
It was probably 3 years ago the La-7 waaa waaa drone was still as loud as it is now, so I decided to make the La-7 my primary ride ... for 6 months I believe.
Now, I occasionally fly it and when I do ... I have a blast. So don't get lulled into the fact that as a flyer of almost 6 years here in Aces High, I will run from you in my La-7 ... you will be in for a BIG surprise.
On the other hand, I fart in the general direction of La-5s and La-7s in my F6F / FM2 ... mainly due to the fact that 99% of those who do fly it ... have no clue how to fly it.
Most who piss and moan about the La-7 are those who are the pickers and runners (Tiffies - Temps - P50runs - run90s - run09s) who get caught with their pants down by an La-7 that has some smash and can't exit as easily as they would like ... and when caught, freeze like a little school girl and offer no fight at all ... not that I would expect a fight from them ... but I can hope.

I dont know bout that....put her into a shallow chandrell, drop the flaps to full, kick the rudder hard and power up the two outterwing engines and you can turn a whole group of 24s 180 degrees in pretty quick and keep the drones right on your tail ;-) oh she shakes and shudders....but she'll make that flat turn ;-) Just dont dip the inboard wing to much.

heyhey ponyd-b my favorite DA planes and ma planes. Agreed that lala drivers are 90% of the time hos/run after being reversers but there are some good sticks, same goes for pony pony gets bad rep from newbs who goo oooooohhh pefity1 and roll one, die , and start realizing all they know is to run. 1 plane you forget is the dora, ive only once faught a dora that didnt run:(

I few my first LA-7 ever last week. I wasn't too impressed but then again, I'm not that great of a stick in the La-La's. Only flew them in the TA once or twice.
I think I just like the satisfaction of landing (or not landing most of the time) in a G-14, a D-40, or a FM2.

well guys there are some good opinions in here, personaly i think the LA is the best all around fighter, what ever it cant out turn it can out run, and what ever it cant out run it out turns, plus its got the coolist sounding engine of all, sounds allmost excactly like a 340 i had.
i just wish people on 200 where not as rude, or pushy, or insultive, who cares what others fly or there tactics.
and the crying about HOing come on, it is ACM just not the turning part of it i generaly dont HO at least try not to somtimes, they suk me in and i do HO then i yell at myself for falling for it, then up a new plane. telling myself i WILL never HO again, its just somtime that is the best corse of action.
i want you guys to know this is the best game ever and for the first time in a few years, im thinking of de tuneing 200 so if ya yell at me or me and i dont respond dont take it personal.
i never run i always fight till my death, no matter the odds, no matter the plane, except 190 cant turn em at all, (thats why i only rarly fly it)
to those who fly with Honor, respect, may all your days be filled with joy and shooting of the red guys. and your nmes nights be filled with dreams of your smiling face on there 6 in a LA.
