Title: Fake 'Chaser' Bush motorcade 11 arrests

Only in Australia :)

The Chaser 'Chad' tv show fake motorcade...black Hummers, black limo with USA/Canada flags on the front...got past 2 checkpoints...got into the 'red zone' outside Bush's hotel...where one person jumped from the limo dressed as Osama bin Laden...was tackled to the ground....11 people have been arrested.

The chaser is a great show - and they were specifically warned by the Feds not to pull any stunts during Apec which just goes to their popularity. They were only caught when they reached Bush's hotel and decided they may as well get out - and Chas dressed as Osama stands out fairly quickly, and being thrown to the ground wasn't true. Infact the police command are a little pissed off because TV footage shows them standing being almost casually interviewed onsite.

They exploited the main concern for security outside the restricted zone which is the importance of the APEC motocades transit unmolested through the city. They picked the Canadian identity because not only would they not have a large motocade - but Canada isn't even involved with APEC. We left work early on Wednesday because the roads around the airport were being closed for an hour because of the arrival of the chinese premier.

It is good that they did not pull this stunt in the USA because if they had they would have been pushing up daisies instead of being arrested.
