Word is he was not a WW II pilot, but he was in a squadron in the Dutch Air Force in the 50's. Never the less, it is a terrible loss.

Yep, he flew Dutch F84Gs and Fs.

Man it has been a really rough year for the airshow guys :cry

     I did notice that the article claimed that there were only 10 SNJs in the
world??  That number is a tad low..by at least a factor of 10.
