UNION CITY, Ga. - A McDonald's employee spent a night in jail and is facing criminal charges because a police officer's burger was too salty, so salty that he says it made him sick.
Kendra Bull was arrested Friday, charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct and freed on $1,000 bail.
Bull, 20, said she accidentally spilled salt on hamburger meat and told her supervisor and a co-worker, who "tried to thump the salt off."
On her break, she ate a burger made with the salty meat. "It didn't make me sick," Bull told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
But then Police Officer Wendell Adams got a burger made with the oversalted meat, and he returned a short time later and told the manager it made him sick.
Bull admitted spilling salt on the meat, and Adams took her outside and questioned her, she said.
"If it was too salty, why did (Adams) not take one bite and throw it away?" said Bull, who has worked at the restaurant for five months. She said she didn't know a police officer got one of the salty burgers because she couldn't see the drive-through window from her work area.
Police said samples of the burger were sent to the state crime lab for tests.
City public information officer George Louth said Bull was charged because she served the burger "without regards to the well-being of anyone who might consume it."
It takes all kinds to make the world go round.

Next time someone serves me an over done steak, I'm not gonna send it back a phone call to the local PD seems to be in order.

I said no onions!!!! Up against the wall!!!!!!:furious

If you dont like the way it tastes.....take it back and ask for a new one for crying out loud. If it tasted to salty and the officer kept eating it.....who's fault is it he got sick? He couldn't have been that sick if he was able to go back and question the manager.

I guess what I dont comprehend...she knew it was too salty yet served it anyways. I think the cops arresting her was overkill but maybe it'll scare some common sense into the idiot.
My heart goes out to the poor cops that just try to get a take out meal. You seem to see this sort of tainting going on fairly often by little punks.

Yes she served the burger but the cook cooked it, so why was he not arrested? Or the manager who knew that salt had been spilled on the meat?
How many other customers ate the 'salty' burgers? Did they get sick? How many packets of salt did the cop add to his burger?
The cop was being a prettythanghole.

All cops I know only eat at fast food places where they can see it being made (Subway, Chipotle, Steak Escape, etc). They all avoid McD's.

Yeah, because it's not the police's job to enforce actual laws. It's their job to terrorize people into acting in whatever arbitrary behaviour the cop desires.

your tag light was out so i'm going to search you and your car for contraband and give you a drug test. And i'm going to put you in handcuffs for your protection.

Good thing she wasn't working at Crispycreme.
Would have been grounds for summary execution.

Did he ask for a liter of coke as well and not get it?
