Why that bird?  Any particular reason?

Ray Wetmore's  "Daddy's Girl" or some of the others from the 359th would look good too.  Wetmore was the 359ths high scorer.

Or is it the name?

That's early nose colors too before the swept back green. Not as flashy and if it's for the Scenario not of that time :)

Beautiful examples WW,I took a peek and recognized some known a/c such as BBB etc...

-The example i was refering to was the plain lack paint that just exhibits the beautiful airframe,  i love the olive drab on the nose, and the green spinner. It shows beauty in its simplist form.
