Ok I need some help, I am trying to convert AHII videos to a format for windows media player and windows movie maker. Can anyone assist?

Are you talking about the outputted .avi from the film viewer?  Or the AH film directly to like MPEG?

yes, I'd like to take the AH avi files and convert them into a file that I can use with windows movie maker. I'd prefer not having to buy extra software, so anything free is the best!

You should be able import .avi files directly into Windows Movie Maker.

What compression should I use?  I keep getting an error about codecs.  Grrrr
