Have newest patch. Attacked buffs several times - all fine.
Attacked Lancs in P-38-J. Film rolling this time. CTD.
Will send in film again.

Hardest bug ever to kill! :p
What's going on, HTC? Two patches, and it's still here! It becoming really annoying.... :(
Film is on the way.

Gianlupo, I have not gotten your film yet.

I was practicing in a B-17 formation for the upcoming scenario last Saturday in SEA and an enemy 163 closed on me and I crashed to the desktop again. Same with attacking buffs.
Not certain I saved films. :cry
I am hoping to make a movie of this scenario using my film and others, but the risk may be too great.

Gimme time, lol! :p I had a very long night outside. ;)
The film is in your mailbox, now. :)

Ditto, same problem. I have just attacked a bunch of B-24s in my Typhoon, with the film running. After 1:44 the screen goes white, "Aces High has had a problem", crash to desktop. The last time this happened to me I was filming a diving attack in Corsair against some B-24s.
I have the film if it's required. There was a fair amount of action - one of the bombers was on fire, the pilot was firing at someone approaching him from the rear, there was a third playing coming in from the side, and in total there were about fourteen players in a mixture of aircraft and ground vehicles.

Send it, Laciner, they need as many films as possible! :)
Btw, fellow players, one question: did your CTDs happen when you were attacking one of the drones, and not the player controlled plane? I think it happens only when you fire at the drones.... if so, we can avoid it till next patch, by trying to attack only the lead plane of a formation.

Now THATS one thing I avoid at all cost because I don't want to be killed by insta-warp drones when lead bomber explodes...
As long as I don't film it, I am save from CTDs.

Ok just had another CTD because I did forget that I still had film rolling from an earlier engagement. Tried to empty my last 140 bullets (Hurri I) into a flight of B26 - I might have hit a drone this time...

Just don't shoot from plain 6 o'clock, level position, noob! Slashing attacks, slashing attacks! :D
It's just an idea, IIRC, all my CTDs after patch 1 happened while shooting at drones.

If I would attack from behind the formation, I would have no trouble with the warping drones...
They kill only when doing a slashing attack
Back to topic: I know that I was not shooting during every CTD - on some I was merely positioning for attack.

In fact I'll stick it up here:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/459d3e/
You'll notice that my first pass is too far behind the bombers, and that I get hit as a result. Worse than that, I had a perfect firing opportunity but missed completely, because I had set my convergence to 650. I find it almost impossible to aim with long convergences. The second pass is better. In the third pass I initially went for the middle bomber, but it caught fire so I went for the left-hand drone. Which I missed, for the same reason as before.

I lost a 262 to lancs last night like this. Film sent.

I CTD for the first time last Friday and also Saturday when flying the scenario beta. I was escort so I wasn't firing on any form of bomber. As a matter of fact, it happend before we had any enemy engagement and I hadn't fired a shot. I had however been filming for a long time...probably an hours worth. I will not be trying to film anymore unless I find that the problem is not with the filming process. It's going to be a bummer if I can't get the scenario on film though. :(
