it looks like we (axis) might have evened things up going into frame #3. It's always fun but me thinks the windsheild has more fun then the bug:)

i am cursed not to ever play in FSO.
being in the UK the times are around 4-5am for me, which is great as im usualy up late on a friday. the problem comes that every morning about this time my internet goes through a few hiccups and i usualy always lose UDP a few times between 4-6am on the weekends.
i was very sorry to fly for 30 mins for nothing, and last event i joined i flew P51s for an hour, saw our first contacts and promptly lost UDP and host.
I will keep trying to take part when you kindly invite me, and i hope one day soon i can actualy get into the action.

S! to the FSO crowd, what you do here is really a great thing.

Thanks for giving it a try Batfink, and I hope you can get your internet issues worked out.  It turned out to be kinda mild last night.

We passed a swarm of enemy on the way into the target, and we dove down to deliver our payload on the base, and left the enemy to the Nighthawks.  None of the enemy followed us, they all tangled with Wolf and the rest of JV44.  We droped our eggs and shot a few things, then exited to the east from A15, bracing for the swarm of enemy planes returning to finish us off.  As the dots appeard from the south, I told everyone to get ready for a fight.  All but 3 of the dots were friendly JV44 guys.  I couldn't believe it, they hardly saved us any planes!!  We helped mop up and then turned our Ki-84's into dump trucks hauling loads back to A15.  Great escort JV44!  :aok

We still found enough action between A10 and A15 to keep us entertained, but it was far from the hair ignighting action of most FSO's.  Catch you next time Bat!

It's funny in that when the escort isnt able (for whatever reason) to actually screen you grumble a bit. And when they provide a true kelvar umbrella (like last night)....you grumble a bit:). your left with either way to much "red"...or almost no red at all:( ....

That was pretty much a replay of Frame 1 for the Fighting 31. Same planes, same load outs, some take off field, same field to defend, same attack came at us. But this time we had a friendly squad of spits that insisted on staying at 30k and would help out our 47s once we got low and slow!

Pez was KIA, hehehe, by me.  But I did have to ditch 4k from the field due to a oil hit and motor seized.
