i tried to get a start up business grant, the govt only has grants for women, "minorities", native americans, and native american tribes. I could not find any grants for white males.

I was half tempted to spell my name "joan" instead of john and claim a typo if caught, or find a women to front for me.

Yea honestly it's a bunch of BS. We used to have a pretty large staff leasing company. Couldn't get any where with govt contracts when it was owned by my step father. Once we set the company up in my moms name, and set up as a women owned minority business, we constantly got govt contracts.

I akways thought it was BS and I've always hated the way the govt works since then.
Title: The bastardization of affirmative action

The need is gone.   Do away with affirmative action.

Each survives on his/her own merits.

I am sick of the reverse descrimination this has wrought for our country.
