Title: Noseart ! What is TRANSPARENCY ?

Quick question !

Loading the squad's noseart.
As per directives, the file is 64 X 64 BMP and has been moved to my AH directory with all of the other nosearts.
What is the "Transparency" ?
I want to delete the square page around the decal for the noseart to blend with the plane camouflage colour...
Directives indicate that it should be 176, 176, 176 ...
Where will I be prompt with the above numbers ?

Anyone ?

the 176-176-176 is the rgb colour of the background.
open the image and make the background colour to 176-176-176 or hex value of B0B0B0.

then i believe u have to send it to hitech who will then add it to the system.

Sorry guy but not very much computer experience here !

I open the image where ? How ?
Is there a "tab" somewhere that will say "transparency" ?
What do I click on ?  Tool tab ?
Walk me through this please ...

Anyone else ?

Open your "decal" with what ever art program you use (paint shop pro, adobe, gimp) Select the background (the part you want to disappear or become transparent) and change it to the RGB value of 176,176,176, or set it to the HEX color BOBOBO. Save your work, and up load it. be sure your using only 256 colors.

this poor fella is going to be lost for sometime. Phil why dont you send me a pm and i will give you my email addy and you can send that Logo to me and i will see what i can do with it in my free time.
