Masher must have had some other thread hijacked a couple times.  Otherwise, this would seem to be a non-sequitor.

Non-sequitor is a good word.  You know, it comes from the Latin, imported as is.   Often, we find Latin as the root of words, but in this case, as in others (in re, tempus fugit, etc) the Latin is just taken as is (or was).

Which brings us to this whole language thing.  I mean, why did man develop so many different languages?   What a pain!

And this isn't a pain you can take aspirin for.   Pain meds are abused in general anyway.   You'd think we would find a way to deal with pain organically.

I saw an ad for organic chicken.  What the heck is that?  Aren't they all organic?

Look at the time!

I posted a Neil Young song that has been stuck in my head.   No point in posting when two think "they're being funny".   What goes around will come around.

Old man take a look at my life....

I've had that one in my head for 35 years. Not so bad.

The tune I mentioned was the Unplugged version of "Long May You Run".    I popped in the disc a few days ago and it has stuck to me like glue.

I also, mentioned I was taking the wife to see him here in Detroit, on Nov. 10th.   Then the Skynard hijacks began.

Don't be too hard on us Masherbrum. It's hard to sense one's mood in text, sometimes light, sometimes deep. I think most here never intend to truly offend beyond a well intended light hearted jab. Unless politics or religion are the subject of course. ;)

Sorry dude. It really was meant as a light hearted jab.

:cry

We've been through some things together
With trunks of memories still to come
We found things to do in stormy weather
Long may you run.

Long may you run.
Long may you run.
Although these changes have come
With your chrome heart shining in the sun
Long may you run.

Well, it was back in Blind River in 1962
When I last saw you alive
But we missed that shift on the long decline
Long may you run.

Long may you run.
Long may you run.
Although these changes have come
With your chrome heart shining in the sun
Long may you run.

Maybe The Beach Boys have got you now
With those waves singing "Caroline No"
Rollin' down that empty ocean road
Gettin' to the surf on time.

Long may you run.
Long may you run.
Although these changes have come
With your chrome heart shining in the sun
Long may you run.

To be honest Masherbro, I hates the Neil Young....so I will never understand why one of his tunes would ever get stuck in my head.
