I'm a little late on catching the football bug. Until now I think I've been the only person in Texas who didn't give two hoots about Football. Last time I watched a Football game, the Fridge was playing.
But my teenager has his first football game tomorrow. So I'll learn the lingo so I know what's going on... but if I ever wear the shirt, the hat, & paint the face w/football colors, carry the logo-draped folding chair & get a bumper sticker, txdad has permission to just shoot me.

Good luck to your son!:aok I'm only a casual fan myself, can't help but rub it in when the Broncos win though.
-
Good luck to him!
Our lives are football from July (Camp) until November. It's one helluva commitment by both kids and parents.

You're not the only one. Some of us think team sports are kinda lame to begin with :)

Now now, let's not forget that magnificent time out called before Janikowski kicked last week, then missed it the second time around.:D

You are invited to join the fans of the Patriots.
We are the best team in Football, bar none......we have the videotapes to prove it.

Rumor has it the Minnesota Vikings are a football team.
but judging from the last game against the Lions.
I beleive it to be just a rumor.
I still predict they will go 1 and 1 against Chicago Bears though

He's just on the local middle school team. :D He has fun though, so I guess it doesn't matter if I enjoy the game or not. I do enjoy seeing him having fun.

I caught the football bug seriously back in the mid 60's. I watched all the games (professional), then three things happened to kill my desire to ever watch another one. Two football strikes put the nail in the coffin and a pig farmer from Arkansas buying the Cowboys was the other.
It is a total waste of time, in my humble opinion. Glad you can get enjoyment from your kids playing it though. I might watch if I had a kid playing it.
