I've been in aviation for many years now; since I enlisted in the Air Force in 1969. (crew chief on Jolly Greens)   I currently work for a major aircraft manufacturer.  There isn't much that impresses me.   One was the SR-71.

But I admit that when I watched a fly-by of the B2 I was impressed.  Its war making abilities aside, it is just one hell of an airplane.

Some of you may remember, back in the late 70's or early 80's, reading about a bunch of UFO sightings in the south west; they all described this Triangular shaped craft, silent and fast.

When the B2 was made public it all made since to me.

What I find impressive is it’s a two man crew flying 40 hour missions, to the theater of operations and back.  No longer do we need the 9 man crews of WWII

saw one of those at an airshow a few years aho. it was above at about 1500 feet at the most and i could hardley hear it. about half hoour later a B-1 flew over. heard that from a few miles away
