Title: Unable to use WMM with AH2 films!

I am unable to use the AH films saved as AVI with Windows Movie Maker because for some reason the following message appears:

"The file C:\Users\Bryn\Documents\AH2 Films\Film 1.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again."

I have also tried converting the AVI into WMV and other codecs but I am unable to convert.

Would anyone know what I can do?

When installing it'll give a checklist of what it's going to install. Uncheck everything except the codec. The rest is bloat.

Nope did that and still come up with the same message
