Speed Traps

I was skeptical when I received this from a friend, however I thought I'd go along and see what the gag was ... this is for real.. in much detail, even to the description of the unmarked  cars used for lasering and ticketing in all states and all provinces in Canada.

Click on what state /province  you want to check, then select the city/town you wish to view, click on it and the information displays.... amazing.

You can see the speed traps in U.S. or Canadian cities.  Very
interesting, I had no idea this was available.  So, do you know the speed traps in your hometown?  If not, click and check them out:

Looked up NJ and the one town I know of thats the most Iron fisted.
Or at least used to be when I liked there some 27 years ago.

The Place.
South River NJ

Home of the weirdest community I've ever come across.
Think Throwback 50s

These locations are ENTIRELY accurate
Only thing left out is they just arent after speeders but anything they can find. Most commonly at those positions around the first of the month to catch people with overdue inspection stickers.
Particularly at the Elks Club location

I probably know of about 10 places State Police and Montgomery County/Roanoke Police set up speed traps from Blacksburg to Roanoke on I-81 (I drove this route twice a day for a month and a half during the summer). I'll have to add the places I have seen them when I get back from my test.

Personally I'd rather not tell everybody about the speed traps... then the cops will be occupied writing those losers tickets...

The locations listed for the cities in my area were pretty accurate, including the infamous spot where I got my first speeding ticket 36 years ago.
