Good pilots,

I'm leaving AH to pursue my music and writing with greater focus.  I've had a tremendous time flying with the Knights, and shooting the rest of you down or visa versa.

I'll miss you all, especially Wolf and Bloom, from my original squad.

To JG2:  SALUTE!  Keep those damn Bishes and Rooks living in fear.

FunkedUp, I found you hilarious- thanks for letting me repeatedly shoot your b17 down.

RAM, keep the faith.

Thanks, ao2- that's one of the kindest things anyone's ever said to me.

Mighty1-  sorry again for the heated words in the valley last night.  I'd hate to leave on a sour note.  I was actually miffed that a squadmate didn't note that I'd shot the back end off of an f4u, and was closing for the coup de grace when he dove in to get an easy kill.  I certainly won't miss incidents like that, though the challenge remains to handle these things with reserve.

Heckel, I sincerely apologize for stealing your kill last night.  I felt awful about it because I thought you had overshot and that the F4u was attempting to ditch.  I did not know his tail had been removed and would certainly have broken off attack if I'd seen that.  I fly with instinct mostly and am not able to fully asess each situation before it is sometimes too late.  You had him smoking, etc. so I though I would simply get an assist.  I only meant to prevent him ditching and had no idea I would get a kill credit after all the damage you had done.

It's okay, rust.  I logged on for my last night of flying, and it didn't go all that well, overall.  My frustrations were already running high when you stepped in on the F4u.  I've not been able to devote myself to flight simming to the degree that some have, and every kill was a triumph, so losing a hard-earned flight's reward was more than I could handle at that time.  Made me appreciate RAM's outbursts...

Anyway, no hard feelings.  Enjoy the new version, JG2.
