On new Gateway GM5478 gamer computer, AH will not run after update. Only way to get it to run is reinstall the version with patch 2 complete. Then if I go online and must update, it stops running with the above error message. It worked fine before and will still work off line, if I reinstall the complete game at patch 2 level.

My pen 4 laptop running win XP accepted the update fine and it works as it should.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks to Scuzzy I found the work around to get it to run.
Removed the game with control panel uninstaller. Then manuel removed the HTC folder.

Downloaded fresh copy of complete game ver 2113 and did normal install. It works now. Just have to restore all my game settings.
