Just click "Start" button and select "Run" and type "msconfig" into text field and from that sreen select start up programs and deselct the ones you do not want to run in startup.

fsautostart does a good job of temporarily killing services and programs that are not required to run the game. It makes for a lean machine.

It works great and has a easy interface. Just cleaned up my buddies new lab top from 84 running to 24. It is incredible that manufacturers are still bogging down their computers with all the junk.

They gotta make SOME money on their crappy computers, so they load them up with crapware to get the subsidy from the crapware makers...

Sad but what can you do.
