Title: snap roll?
Post by: whiteman on September 25, 2007, 06:42:50 PM
How do you do this in a P-38? I've done it by accident pulling the stick to hard one or the other but don't remember what direction or speed i was going.

Second, is this a BS lamer move??

The only sudden moves I can make in the P 38 are probably more correctly labelled as snap stalls.

In other rides, I believe a proper snaproll is just full ailerons, and a bit of elevator, or at least this is how it was explained to me.

A snap roll is done using elevator and rudder.

Pitch up followed by hard rudder.
