Title: Being Shot down in FSO
Post by: Getback on September 26, 2007, 11:57:57 AM
For those of you who have expressed displeasure at being shot down so fast in an FSO frame. My Gawd at least you found signs of life. I've participated in a few of these where I saw absolutely no cons for the two hours I was there. Once I did glimpse a fleeing 190; I filmed it and sent it to the Smithsonian.

I havent flown a single FSO without any action. No question that action is often either to much (read charge of the light brigade) or to little but I think that was very much the nature of real combat...

My very first FSO was in the Pacific theater and we flew around for 2 hours searching for incoming nme cons but never saw a thing, but thankfuly that was the only time that's ever happen.

It happens guys, we do our best through rules and orders to make sure it does not happen. But it will happen from time to time.
