What are the requirements to pilot these?
Just wondering if my vision would permit.

Interesting question.  I'd guess they'd require that your vision be correctable to 20/20, but I look forward to hearing something definitive.

Quite a bit of the piloting is not done by a person, it's done using a mouse and map. The UAV pilots itself up to and including the landing.

but if you are a UAV pilot do you still get to wear a leather flight jacket and sunglasses?

IIRC they are same as for a regular pilots since pool of people who get selected are who undergone UTP training. (Before enlisted got to fly UAV, not anymore)
