So i took my first solo last night. It was incredible. Perfect weather with no wind. I had been waiting for a bit as i should have soloed about 3 hours ago but there was too much crosswind for me to go up alone. I flew in a 172, and made 2 touch and go's and then a full stop. I plan on getting the shirt that was cut framed and a dated plaque on it. I have been smiling ever since and can't wait to go up again :)

Congrats. That's one of the best days of your life. The day you get your certificate will also be memorable.

Awesome! Congratulations!

CONGRATS DUDE! Still remember my first solo and it was half a decade ago! Did your instructor give you any prior notice before the flight, or did you guys land, and he told you "its all yours"?

Congrats!:)

Well done, you are now a pilot, No one can take that away from you. Once you go solo. You join an elite group. You flew an airplane on your own.
Never underestimate just how amazing that moment is.
I will always remember my first solo. I was number three to a 747 and a 737. An extraordinary moment.

Thanks everyone. I still can't believe i get to fly an airplane on my own now. Cav i had a pretty good idea i was going to solo that night because i had taken the now mandatory presolo quiz about a week before, and was told i should have soloed already, but due to high winds was still doing dual instruction. Since the night had perfect weather i figured i was going to solo. Cpxxx i was nervous with just a couple Cessna's and Piper's in the pattern for my solo i couldn't imagine being number 3 behind those two monsters for my first time.

Congrats to you! As Mav said, solo and certificate day are the two biggies you'll remember!
I envy you, I miss flying terribly but there are no places to rent within 50 miles of me :(

Fantastic! :aok

Congrats on the solo. I well remember mine. 2/25/78 Piper Warrior II N3332Q.
Bounced that first touch and go and just about had a stroke :) All of 17 years old. Greased the next two and the full stop though:aok
The bigger question is are you still flying the scenario? You signed up for 38s and I've not heard a word(despite lots of e-mails) from ya or seen you at practices or Beta? :)
